When The Weather is Fine
It’s been so long
Since I have heard your voice
I’d like to talk
Then I might not have the choice
You turned off your phone
I guess you need some time away
I wish you could hear me say
I know that sometime
When the weather is fine
I will be with you
I’ll be with you
No one can see
What the future will be
But I’ll feel for you
I’ll feel for you
I saw your friends
They said that this is not like you
One thing I’ve learnt
Even angels loose their view
But now you have gone
My days are empty, cold and bleak
To think that we can’t even speak
We can’t even speak
But I know that sometime
When the weather is fine
I will be with you
I’ll be with you
No one can see
What the future will be
But I’ll feel for you
I’ll feel for you
I’m just trying to make a contribution
Does that stand for nothing at all
I want to say I love you
But I feel like I can’t talk
And I know that sometime
When the weather is fine
I will be with you
I’ll be with you
No one can see
What the future will be
But I’ll feel for you
I’ll feel for you

Ten Days - Missy Higgins

So we've put an end to it this time.
I'm no longer yours and you're no longer mine.
You said this hill looks far too steep
if I'm not even sure it's me you wanna keep.
And it's been ten days without you in my reach,
and the only time I've touched you is in my sleep.
And time has changed nothing at all -
you're still the only one that feels like home.
I've tried cutting the ropes and
An I let you go but you're still the only one
that feels like home.
You won't talk me into it next time,
if I'm going away your hearts coming too.
'Cos I miss your hands I miss your face.
When I get back let's disappear without a trace.
'Cos it's been ten days without you in my reach,
and the only time I've touched you is in my sleep.
But time has changed nothing at all -
you're still the only one that feels like home.
I've tried cutting the ropes,
tried letting go but you're still the only one
that feels like home.
So tell me, did you really think...
oh tell me, did you really think
I had gone when you couldn't see me anymore?
When you couldn't...
'Cos baby time has changed nothing at all -
you're still the only one that feels like home.
And I've tried cutting the ropes,
I let you go but you're still the only one
that feels like home, yeah,
you're still the only one that feels like home,
you're still the only one I've gotta *love*.
Oh yeah...

it matters

sometimes when your young, you think nothing can hurt you
its like being invincible,
your whole life is ahead of you and you have big plans
to find your perfect match,
the one that completes you.
But as you get older you realise its not that easy
its not until the end of your life
that you realise that how the plans you made are simply plans.
Because at the end, when look back instead of forward
you want to believe that you made the most of what life gave you,
you want to believe that you are leaving something good behind
you want it all to have mattered.

Something Better
is what might have been.
But what if the man has faced with what was,
or what may never be, or what can no longer be.
its a decision we make with only our hearts to guide us,
but sometimes we find a way to something better.
but sometimes we find a way to something better.
our malice and our jealousy and the shame we feel
for being the people we are not meant to be.
or when something better finds its way to us.

Make a wish

Make a wish and place it in your heart,
anything you want, everything you want.
Do you have it?. . . good!
Now believe it can come true, you never know where the next miracle is going to come from,
the next smile, the next wish come true.
But if you believe it is right around the corner
and you open your heart and mind to the possibility of it, to the certainty of it,
you might just get the thing your wishing for.
The world is full of magic, you just have to believe in it
so make your wish. Do you have it? . . . good!
Now believe in it, with all your heart.
-----
Its so interesting how, you are reading/listening/watching something, and what is being said just hits you, it gives you an impact.
Make a wish right now!

Palmerston North
This evening I am spending the night in Palmerston North, socialising with friends and having a jolly good time. Palmerston North is about 2 hours north of Wellington, it is a humble city full of fun and fantastic people, it would suit those who love the relaxed and quiet life, I would love to retire here

Its not what you know, its who you know...
Rosita rose to fame here in New Zealand when she won New Zealand Idol in 2005. She continued in her music career releasing an album titled: Golden which peaked at #15 in the NZ Music Charts. Her single: All I Ask reached #1 on the NZ Music Chart and made 2 x platinum certification. She is performing on 1st March 2008 at Out in the Square in Wellington.
I was privileged to have been involved in making the most recent music video for Rosita Via. I was honoured to be 1st Assistant Director, it was interesting, fun and stressful but I gained a lot from the experience. I really can not wait to be involved in another music video.

monogamy

monogamy (mə-nŏg'ə-mē)
n.
- The practice or condition of having a single sexual partner during a period of time.
- The practice or condition of being married to only one person at a time.
- The practice of marrying only once in a lifetime.
I was having lunch with a group of friend, and I happened to enter a conversation with someone who I had meet that day, about the type of guys I am into. This conversation go very heated, he then mentioned that he and his partner have an open relationship because thats what you do when you have been together for 10 years.
I was completely shocked at the statement made, I really wanted to make a conservative statement, but thought best to bite my tongue, than sour an already rocky friendship.
People are entitled to their own lives, opinions and values, and I should not be telling people how to live their lives.
I am a firm believer in monogamy, if you are going to have a relationship you stick to it 100%
what is the point in being in one, if you don't reap the rewards and benefits of it.
I can think of nothing more passionate than being intimate with one person, as sick as it sounds it is enough to get me going.

The Theory of True Love

It is interesting that many people have different views on love.
I was discussing with a few people, if they believed in love, and what their theory on finding your one true love was.
Person one stated that love is just a sad misconception that only causes misery, it is love that blinds people but never is reciprocated by those you want it from. Person One recently lost a long term lover. I have been in this state before and I believe over time he will heal
Person Two said that they do believe love exists as they are in love, and has experienced love previously. His theory on finding his one true love was that two people will be attracted to each other over distances, He found this out when He went on His Overseas Experience, and found someone he was attracted to, and there it blossomed into a so far 7 year relationship, they have had their ups and down, but are still very much in love.
I am currently reading a book called Almost like Being in Love, its by Steve Kluger and it reads about A high school jock and nerd who call in love during their senior year of high school, only to part after an amazing summer of discovery to attend separate colleges. They keep in touch at first, but then slowly drift apart. Twenty years later, One of them discovered they are still on love with the other, and pursues on a cross country mission of 3000 miles to declare his love for his high school sweet heart. its a must read for those who love those cute love stories.
I am beginning to believe that true love does exist, and it is a matter of patience and pursuing what you feel is right.
Love is out there for everyone, even though I have not found the one or true love, I believe he is out there, and in good time and searching, he will find me. sure sites on the internet promise to find your true love or tell you who your true love is going to be, but only you can know, who your true love is.
